I am going to head back to square 4 me thinks.
Yes I am a c25k graduate and yes I did the 3 x 30 minute runs and more. I consolidated, I ran 5k & I felt good, happy & confident.
Then the heat came! I know we all suffered and I am not going to say I suffered any more than anyone else but it did completely throw my running off track. I totally take my hat off to all those of you who carried on in that heat. Now the weather is cooler, perfect for me, I just cannot get back to running for 30 minutes. Hell, 10 minutes is pushing it. I’ve just struggled to get 4.5k in 40 mins and there was a LOT of walking!
So, I have decided to head back to W4 and see how it goes. Hopefully that will help build my stamina back up. I may take a leaf out of sallenson s book and do 1 week per run, so in theory back to W9 in two weeks but I’ll see how it goes.
So W4 starts again on Monday 👍
