I am so happy, never in my wildest dream did I think I was capable of this. Even at the start of the run, I was doubting myself, during the run I was arguing with those gremlins telling me to stop, no one will know they said! Well I didn't, in fact I picked up the pace. I'm in shock as GPS shows, including the 2x5min warm up/cool down walks that I did just over 5k. Do you think I will complete this programme running 5k in 30min?? This is my goal. It will still be slow and steady as I don't want to injure myself but I'm amazed especially as I feel I'm plodding along.
Laura said I'm officially a runner and now I can agree!
To anyone who is just starting C25K, have faith and trust this programme. There will be days where you doubt your ability but your stronger than you know, you got this!
So I'm treating myself to a new pair of trainers and a piece of cake!
Happy running you fabulous supportive people x
