This morning I went out and did W2 R2. I found my breathing and stamina was a lot better this run, but I had a bit of calf pain/ache, especially on the walking parts of my run. I took a steady pace and did warm up stretches before and after, and just a little confused as haven't had this before. Was able to finish my run and everything but just hope this doesn't continue on Wednesday. I have running shoes and find my Nike shoes comfortable so not sure if there is a problem with these.
I have no pain now at all post-run.
I understand it is normal to get some aches etc on first few weeks as my body gets used to running, so if anyone else has experienced this please let me know! x

It is hard to pin point where it could of come from, I was talking to a friend of mine once she had spent a fortune on running trainers and was upset because she was in pain, it took us a while to work out she had also bought new work shoes that were completely flat at the same time and it was those that were causing the problem not her runners. Have a think about if you have worn new other shoes as well.
Thank you so much - that's a great point! Luckily today pain was hardly there so I think it could just have been a bit of aching or something. Really appreciate your response x
