This is the child

This is the child who didn’t want to do moving around, this is the child that felt safe and wanted to feel warm indoors with his lego set, this is the child that watched tv ALOT, this is the child that lived with his mate, smoked and drank a lot, this is the child that got a desk job because he didn’t want to do too much physical work but finally, finally, this is the child that for the first time in his life is now running for longer than he is walking. Happy Friday people I’ve just completed week 4 run 1 and it’s a real big deal for me. Go out there find a stretch and go get some jogging done. 🏃‍♂️ 💓 🏃‍♂️

Remarkably bearable. I mean it was weird. I wasn’t out of breath as much as I thought I would be. Blooming marvellous feeling though.

What a great post, you look as though you are enjoying yourself! I’m just in from doing run 3 week 4 and it’s a really good feeling to know that I’ve been out done it and enjoyed it. More power to us both!

What a lovely uplifting post. As someone who avoided PE since primary school and self labelled myself as “not sporty”, it’s very liberating to feel like I am able to reinvent myself with this. It is seriously making me feel like a different person sometimes.

Mullinz this is exactly the prod I needed! I have been in my kit all morning and not feeling it, moaning that I’ve been cold even in the house, not decided on my run route, now sat in my parked car before setting off and still procrastinating. Your inspirational enthusiasm and rightful pride in your progress is now pushing me out of this warm car. Thank you 👍
