I have just completed Week 9 Run 2 and am feeling great. I just wanted to post this as encouragement to all the other older people who have, like me, have embarked on this programme never having run before. If I can do it, anyone can. It is wonderful. I can’t believe I have managed to achieve this and without too much pain. My top tips: learn to run slowly (you can always speed up towards the end of a run if you feel like it) and don’t hesitate to repeat a week if you don’t feel ready to move on!
