Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K and welcome to the forum Saz vern.

Week 2 is a little easier than the first week, although the runs are 90 seconds long against 60 seconds for the first week there are 6, not 8.

I graduated from C25K last year and sometimes when I rerun some of the runs for practice and revision I always rerun week 2, not week 1, so I think you will find week 2 less tiring. 😊

Well done.

Presumably you want to become a runner...........

C25K works.......

Trust the plan and be positive..........it makes all the difference.

This might help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

My theory is that I want to get there and I’m willing for it to take longer if necessary so I often repeat the third run of each week, sometimes twice to make sure I’m comfortable before I move on. Good luck with week 2 :)

This will be me tomorrow so congratulations on completing your first week. I'm hoping it will be me tomorrow 👍

Keep thinking positive thoughts! You just have to get your mindset in the right place - and believe me, mine wasn't where it should have been this morning before my last run of the first week.

I am at the same stage as you. I completed my very first run thinking "What am I doing?!!" and this morning took concerted effort to get out, but I did. It wasn't an easy run, but I'm glad I did it. I feel better for it.

Keep going!! I'm taking encouragement from AlMorr's reply that Week 2 is a little easier...

I struggled today, I'm at the same point as you. My plan is to start week 2 but if I struggle I will repeat week 1 until I'm ready. We can do this!

I agree.

Sure and steady wins the race.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes to get through C25K, I’m just proud that I’m trying, and that’s enough for me right now. Good luck with week 2! :)

Well done doesn’t sound praise enough...but you have done amazingly well....just go as slow as you can and always remember that you can have practice runs, so even if you don’t manage the next one, try again....there’s no time limit, do it in your own time x
