Well that was an experience!!! 836 runners and I came in 737. The start felt like being in a herd of wilderbeest! First time not solo running. Everyone was super nice and friendlyπ. Got lapped by many π± but most noticeable was one buggy πΆ and two dogs πΆ π ππ Time was 37.4 which I didnβt think was toooooo bad. Think I might get the bugππ. Who would have believed this was possible in 10 weeks for an unfit 56 year old. If I can do it you can too πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Wow, sounds like you joined some serious ParkRunners, but your time is brilliant! Well done. Don't worry about anyone else, enjoy your own victory.
Brilliant! Good for you! π
Fantastic and congratulations. Now you have a Parkrun PB to go back and beat next week. I was a volunteer at Parkrun this morning. I was at the finish line with the stop watch. I love Parkrun. Well done to you again
Thank you. Well done for volunteering, can see myself doing that once Iβve got a few under my belt as great comaraderie ππ
Thatβs one exceptionally busy ParkRun! Well done. Welcome to ParkRunning ππ½
570 at mine today, wildebeasts, I love it!! Those first few hundred metres though, it is really hard to pick your own pace because of the crowd. Well done though. Fab time for your first Parkrun.
