Well that was an experience!!! 836 runners and I came in 737. The start felt like being in a herd of wilderbeest! First time not solo running. Everyone was super nice and friendly👍. Got lapped by many 😱 but most noticeable was one buggy 👶 and two dogs 🐶 🐕 😂😂 Time was 37.4 which I didn’t think was toooooo bad. Think I might get the bug😀😀. Who would have believed this was possible in 10 weeks for an unfit 56 year old. If I can do it you can too 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Fantastic and congratulations. Now you have a Parkrun PB to go back and beat next week. I was a volunteer at Parkrun this morning. I was at the finish line with the stop watch. I love Parkrun. Well done to you again

Yeah it’s a great way of getting to know people. I like to Volunteer one in every six Parkruns. It’s as enjoyable as the running.

570 at mine today, wildebeasts, I love it!! Those first few hundred metres though, it is really hard to pick your own pace because of the crowd. Well done though. Fab time for your first Parkrun.
