After my nerves the other day I am so pleased that I managed to complete week 6 with my first 25 minute run. Thank you all for great advice and support. I changed my routine and went out to a park which was lovely. I also managed to keep my pace consistent for the whole run at around 7:14/km which I’m really pleased with. I can’t believe I’m into week 7!

That’s amazing! You can do it - because you’re a runner!!

OMG - Ab23s - you are going at a GREAT speed - kudos to you. So glad you enjoyed your fresh air and outside run - how difficult was to change from tredmill - some find it very hard!

I'm still in shock that I managed 25 mins (even if a snail could have gone faster!!!) LOL

You are too kind! It doesn’t feel fast at the moment but trying not to worry too much about it and just enjoy what I can do. I am still in shock too! Go us!

I much prefer it to the treadmill - I’ve done a couple outside but if in doubt I go to the gym. From now on I’m going to brave it outside more. Apart from when I went over the lake on the bridge and then my legs were not happy!

How was your there and back run? When are you thinking of starting week 7?

My there and back was hard due to the up slope for the 10 mins repeat run. I was counting down seconds for every one of the last 5 minutes. A real struggle... which didn’t help my gremlin problem ahead of r3.

I am starting W7 on Sunday. I’ve had 1 day on 1 off since I started.
