What are you wearing on your feet?

Trainers purchased from a reputable recommended running / sports shop that did a gait analyse for me.

Sounds as if it could be plantar fascitis, so might be worth doing a search for that to see if the symptoms match yours.

If you have had pf in the past then the stresses of running may well be causing it to change the way it exhibits symptoms and only a medical professional is going to be able to give you a firm diagnosis and appropriate treatment regime.

Sounds like you need better trainers. I changed to asics, expensive but so worth it!

Make sure you land on ball of foot each step. Take some anti inflammation meds for a couple of days. Could be your tendon under your foot.

New trainers definitely worth the money, I spent more on mine than I've ever spent on shoes.... I am returning to this after 2 years and 3 stress fractures in one foot. The other thing I did was space the runs out a bit more. 1 run, 2 rest days. Tales a bit longer but certainly helped the aching foot. This was physio advice who said running is fine if your sensible, running is easier than sensible for me.

I was getting aches in my heels and knee. Went and got new running shoes with a gait fit no problem since.
