Getting back out there, hooray!😊

It's been 16 long days since my last run, when my legs turned to jelly after 5 minutes and I had to pack it in after another 5 or so. No sooner had I got home than I started sneezing, and I didn't really stop for 3 days. Felt weak as a kitten and set up camp on my sofa, waiting to feel better. And today was the day! I forgot to charge up my Garmin, and forgot to take my phone with me, so I had to rely on my old Casio sport watch. Well, at least it's pink 😁 . Walked for 5, then tentatively "ran" for 5. Pretty it wasn't 😂 but, after a 2 minute recovery walk, I did it again. And then again! So, 15 minutes of running-ish, in the sunshine, and I saw and heard a skylark. I am now absolutely cream crackered, but I'm a smiling grumpy old girl! 😎
