Getting there.......

So, after loosing just over 2 stone(still about 4 to go!) I heard about C25K and on a whim decided to give it a go. First run, didn't know where I was going to run ended up running up and down hills - W1 R1 only managed 5 of the 1 min runs but continued walking for all of the podcast. Was a bit disappointed but had to start somewhere. After the first attempt my legs decided they would ache for 2 days!

2nd run was early morning. And planned my route and managed to do all 8 min stints. Was really pleased with myself and couldn't wait for the next one! Legs didn't ache after this run either so that was a bonus! Probably because route was flat and not up and down hills!

3rd again planned a flat route and managed to run for the full 8 stints, no aching again so really chuffed!

Tonight I am going to do w1 r3 again as I didn't manage to complete it on my first attempt so making sure I get3 full sessions in before moving on to week 2!

Loving it do far, determined to keep going! I will get fit!!!!!

That's great. All of my runs are flat - not sure what I'll do when I encounter a slope. Well done.

I agree week 1 is one of the hardest weeks as everything is so new and you havent found your speed yet just stick with and listen to Laura.

Congratulations on your start. The plan really does work and you'll be amazed what you can do. I've lost about 2.5 stone and have 3 to lose. Good luck with your next run.

Well done the hardest thing is getting off the couch, once you are off you'll never want to return. Well until your favourite programme comes along. Good luck to you on your journey, you will get so much inspiration from the comments and blogs on here.
