Set off on my merry way this evening, fully charged from my 4pm banana π. 5 min warm up walk then set off up the mountain (sorry hill) on my 90 second run at which point im nearly flattened by a hoard of nordic walkers. Im not sure of the collective noun for said walkers but the one i chose this evening is not printable!
I have no issues with walkers of any ilk but I do mind when I'm forced onto the grass because they wish to walk 4 abreast on the pavement π π π plus I was under the impression that those coming down hill should give way to those going up? Manners please!! Ok I have vented now so will draw a line under the incident and move on. But god help them if we meet again.... vengeance is mine.... no get a grip; channel my inner Elsa and let it go...πΆ
Onwards to the park which was like the Serengeti, gazelles everywhere! π¦π¦π¦π¦π thankfully no lions π¦ I got overtaken, a lot, and that's ok, speed isn't everything but by gum these gazelles were going some. I'm not joking when I say there was a wind rush as they passed. Just like being in a tube station π€£π€£
The rest of my jaunt was quiet with a much longer warm down as Laura kindly gave us a shorter session today π but still had to get home π
Happy running folks xxx
Ps apologies if you're still singing Let it go in your head π

Good running. Itβs an amble of walkers I think... but not sure if thereβs a specific term for the Nordic variety... or the nordic variety either π. I say just run at the gap between the middle two and break into a sprint... theyβll move!
Some people are so ignorant of others , the other day I was out running and someone drove straight out of a driveway and nearly knocked me over I had the right away as the path runs straight through it . But what can you do but carry on π
Lovely post. Yes, those gazelles make it look so easy as they breeze past, don't they. Makes me smile... I look more like a warthog having a minor coronary... but at least I'm still moving.
Ha jogunlikely that made me laugh.i saw a gazelle today whilst I was in the car, bright pink outfit pony tail jauntily swinging from side to side! Effortless ! Iβm probably 40 years older than the gazelle and 2 stone heavier, but Iβm out there ( early in the morning but Iβm out there). Itβs week 2 run 3 for me on Friday, good luck to us both!
