Well, despite how I felt at the end of W1R1, I have done it, and it certainly couldn't have been done without the support and encouragement from this forum, I feel my life has been fundamentally changed forever. I love you all! *dabs eyes*

The app crashed again, I still suffer from the toxic 10, the elastic on my running belt isn't as tight (my weight loss probably) so my keys kept falling out, the music was jumpy, and it was still 15C when I left the house at 5:25, but every step of that run was bliss. In the end I ran for about 31 mins as the time readout on Strava on my Samsung watch is very small, and did 5.75k according to the log.

Over the moon now, it's a shame I have to sit down all day and work. Still, while I am on a high, I might buy the new Polar Grit X watch. Not cheap, but my work went on lockdown 2 weeks before it was mandatory, and I have 3 months of not paying for a Kent to London ticket to play with...

Thanks again to everyone, and to everyone who is just starting or wondering if you can do it - If I can, you definitely can. I was 19 stone at one point in my 30s...

🍾🥂 Congratulations 🥂🍾

What a brilliant achievement, really well done.

Now you can run without voices in your head and crashing apps! Although, I did repeat wk9 r3 several time through consolidation. 🤣

Onwards and upwards now.

Awesome buddy. To watch your journey has been so great. I knew you'd get where you are now. Well done on all those runs and all the effort you have put in. Today's your day!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

The Running Channel on YouTube has some great watch reviews.

Thanks for that, I've watched some of their beginner running videos and they are quite interesting. I didn't realise there were quite as many watches though, might take some time rather than rushing in. Cheers.

Yes, the local Pizza Hut has started doing collection only again, so obviously have to treat the kids for being good, well not destroying the house. I will just have to have a small pizza to reach minimum order of course 🍕
