Well, despite how I felt at the end of W1R1, I have done it, and it certainly couldn't have been done without the support and encouragement from this forum, I feel my life has been fundamentally changed forever. I love you all! *dabs eyes*
The app crashed again, I still suffer from the toxic 10, the elastic on my running belt isn't as tight (my weight loss probably) so my keys kept falling out, the music was jumpy, and it was still 15C when I left the house at 5:25, but every step of that run was bliss. In the end I ran for about 31 mins as the time readout on Strava on my Samsung watch is very small, and did 5.75k according to the log.
Over the moon now, it's a shame I have to sit down all day and work. Still, while I am on a high, I might buy the new Polar Grit X watch. Not cheap, but my work went on lockdown 2 weeks before it was mandatory, and I have 3 months of not paying for a Kent to London ticket to play with...
