Well... it’s done. In the bag. Under the belt. Completed. Challenge met.
Thank you to everyone on this forum who post or read or reply. You are ALL amazing and you are all contributing to people like me - novices and newbies; non-runners and wannabes, doubters and the injured.
In slightly over 9 weeks I have learnt that by sticking with the programme, it is indeed possible to go from the couch to running for 30 minutes. I have also learnt: There is no such thing as too slow.
No two runs are the same.
Runner’s high is real.
The human body is amazing and the human mind is extraordinary.
Strangers who share a passion have the ability to motivate, cajole and inspire.
Finally, I thought W1R1 was the beginning but know now that W9R3 is just the start...
Thank you for being with me on this part of my journey.

Thank you, IannodaTruffe. Thanks for all the info and the links. Thanks for your comment too. I haven’t stopped smiling since graduating and I’m about to head out for my first post-grad run. 😊🏃🏼♀️
Thanks, CastlingChris. I had Sarah Millican as my coach and I ‘lurked’ in the forum reading the highs and lows of other runners. The wealth of expertise, advise and support on here really helped me. I hope it helps you too. Happy C25K to you. 😊
Aw, thank you so much, Jazzyrunner. I was sad to read of your ankle injury - I sprained/strained both of mine at the same time in W2 and was on the bench for a month, while they healed. Heal they did though and I don’t get out of bed in the morning now until I’ve completed my ankle exercices! 🤣 Wishing you a speedy recovery and also happy running. Thank you for your support. 😊
Thank you, GreenLizard. I believe you will get there. I believe that this time you will continue, baby step by baby step, on your journey and you will quiet the voices that tell you you can’t. “Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it!” I am this morning watching the sun rise as I prepare for my first solo-Run. The doubt is still there but I’m going to do it anyway. Wishing you every success, (after a cry, a cuppa and a pee of course!). 😊
