First run!!

Today I completed the first Run of week 1. I'm so freaking proud of myself. I wanted to give up halfway through but ended up carrying on and I'm so happy. I kept thinking others were going to judge me but every other fellow runner I saw gave me a wave an a smile and that was enough to help me carry on and complete w1r1. Roll on Wednesday for r2.

Welcome and great job on run 1. Runners are a friendly lot, you’re never gonna hear anything negative from runners, whenever i see someone doing run/walk intervals I’ll give them a few words of encouragement... soon they’ll be running 30 minutes! As of course will you, enjoy your journey.

That’s fantastic.... runners don’t judge other runners.... before you know it you will be waving someone on who you know is just starting out and wishing them a good run 🏃🏼‍♀️😊

Well done to you 'WickedAlwaysWins' on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1, you deserve to be proud of yourself, yes, it's nice that other runners were cheering you on, I have often seen runners walking and running and wondered if they were doing C25K, I have never asked them because perhaps they would think I was being a bit nosy, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week. 1.
