So learning in the week that my Samsung health app is rubbish at recording distance and over reporting my runs, my confidence was a little shaken, hey ho, pick yourself up and crack on, week 9 runs 2 and 3 done! Even managed an extra 6 minutes on the end of run 3! Dead chuffed!

If it helps,I have driven my running route, and it matches my Samsung health app.

When I tried a 5km walk using the Garmin 235, along with the Samsung app, the Garmin recorded me as having walked 0.25km further. 😊

Also 30 minutes is 30 minutes, be proud 🤩

Congratulations - it's a great feeling isn't it!! I have the Samsung health too and agree with you it over records. A bit annoying but I just use it to compare activity from week to week using like for like . Fortunately I have NIK club alongside and I hear Strava is good.
