Yes , I’m so near, but I sort of feel I’m so far 🤔 week 8 has taken me a lot longer than I’d have liked , the first 2 runs have been a week apart ( instead of a day apart ) ...... So , today I ran R2 W8 .... I gave it a 😊 after the run , for some reason the last minute was difficult, but I did it ..... I’m cross that week 8 has been so long . I’ve had work commitments & stuff with the kids . I should have found 40 minutes in the entire week for ME 🤔
Run 2 week 8 , so near .....: Yes , I’m so near... - Couch to 5K
Run 2 week 8 , so near .....

Well done 👍
I’m hoping to do week7run2 tonight and I also have sometimes gone 5 to 7 days between a run. My commitment is my horse, so sometimes when I’ve ridden at night there’s no time or energy to run. So running is taking second place.
I guess we can’t worry too much, at least we are doing it 😁🏃♀️🏃♀️
I’m working and have farmer husband and 2 little ones so have started the getting up at 5 and getting out and home before anyone’s awake , when I left it until the evening something else always took away ME time !!!! Well done on how far you e come
I am in exactly the same position as you darcyduck. I did w8r2 yesterday but it was a whole week since my last run. I started a couple of weeks before Christmas so should have finished some weeks ago. Still, I keep reminding myself that at least I'm getting off the couch more often than I was in November - and that makes me a winner. Actually it's not getting off the couch that's the problem - I'm rarely on it - it's prioritising my health and realising that the family are fine left to their own devices for 40mins. A healthy, fit mum/wife is what they need.

The positive thing I take from this is actually the frustration. A few weeks ago you wouldn't have imagined being annoyed because you *couldn't* run during a week. Well done for that transition and for getting back out there.

But you did it and that’s what is great. Dont focus on the shoulds, they tend to waste energy but plan for the next week. You are so nearly there!!
