I’ve been given the ‘green light’ by my Chiropractor to start running. We thought the C25K was the best option. So taking her advice I’ve hired a treadmill, it’s here and I am ready to go!
Does anyone have any advice? Warnings of pitfalls and motivational gems appreciated.
I’m female, 51 and have some of the aches that go with my age but generally in good health and I’m within 7lbs of what I perceive to be my Happy weight👍🏻

Welcome. That sounds like good news! Now that you’re on here, you will get a link to a pinned post called FAQs - it’s by IannodaTruffe and is full of excellent advice plus links out to really useful other posts on specific topics. (Sorry I don’t know how to post the link!☹️) Do read it, because I found it just what I needed when I began. 😄👍
I recommend the a search for the Japanese slow jogging movement (there’s a short film on youtube) it’s a low impact slow running technique designed to prevent injury. Might help you if you’re worried about injury?
