Retried the 25 minute run with a much more positive mindset this evening.....and so pleased that I’ve completed it! (Despite Storm Freya’s best efforts to blow my headphones off)

No going back now, 25 mins or more from now on 👏

Congratulations Poppins93 on running and beating Freya😩 on your 25, almost 26 minute run, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are again 3/25 minute runs. 🏃 😊

Week 7 really helps as it consolidates the progress so far and gives the legs a mini break from the relentless extending of the runs that you’ve done for six weeks now... my legs felt absolutely amazing by the end of it. Enjoy all of these runs now, you got this.

I’ve just started week 6 and after doing the 20 min run in week 5 was a tad nervous but am looking forward to the challenge!

Best of luck! I was also nervous about week 6. (I approached the 25 min run with totally the wrong attitude and didn’t complete it)

But honestly the extra 5 minutes didn’t feel as long as I thought they would! If you can do the 20 mins you can do this ☺️ enjoy!

It is a little bit reassuring to read this post and the replies because I struggled with W6R3 and again with W7R1 (completed, but walked for a bit) and yes, it is mindset but I know the programme works and we all know that we can beat the setbacks! It really isn't long now until graduation!
