After posting on the new March quest forum that one of my goals for March was to actually run 5k, I only went and blooming well did it! πΎπ₯πΎπ₯ππ and dare I say it in a not too shabby time for an old girl. Cannot believe I actually did it, but everything was going so smoothly this morning it just seemed attainable, and when I got back to the car and saw I had 5 mins to go and was 4.2k I just had to give it a go.
Very, very happy

Thanks. It does look really great, I haven't found anything that works well for me yet. Maybe I'll reward myself with a garmin at the end of the quest!
Itβs really easy to use and read whilst running. II have set it to vibrate when I get to goal times, distance and it also tells me if I keep to the pace I want. I think it is one of the cheapest running watches, and I went for one with a white strap on Amazon as that was the cheapest option, and because I use a the cheapest Fitbit to count Steps and distance, the strap colour was not important to me as I only wear it whilst running.
Easy to use and accuracy are essential, although I am still mostly doing my running on a treadmill so I don't think I really need one just yet. Trainers first!
Love my Garmin Forerunner 235. A couple of button presses and you are running, easy to read the screen, and I do love a statistic or two. Also battery life is excellent, Iβm wearing it all the time, running 3 x 5k a week and only charging it once a week... π
Was very surprised but run so comfortable just seemed inevitable somehow, not planned at all. Probably the best way. Thought zi would get to 5k when running time was 40 mins or so, so very happy.
