First run of week 7 in the bag! 😁 I was nervous for this run as my last run wasn’t the best and I’ve had a fair few days off because it’s been far too icy! But I did it! It was a very slow and steady run, I didn’t want to run out of steam too early! And it’s just as well because there were parts of my route that were still pretty icy! It was hard, but I just kept thinking about how good I was gonna feel at the end and I do! 😁
I wish you all a very Happy New Year! 🍾 I may have a couple of drinks tonight! And it’s my birthday tomorrow so I plan on spending my rest day chilling out and eating cake! (And of course drinking plenty of water to prep for my Jan 2nd run)! Here’s to a 2021 full of many wonderful runs! 🥂

Well done. There are some runners who are sensible and eat and drink sensibly. Then there are people like us who are giving ourselves a break on New Years Eve - pity it comes just over Christmas. New Years Day will be a full on re-hydration fest for me. Then running on Saturday and back to normal-ish.
