Ouch my knee!

So I managed to complete week 7 run 2 but my left knee now feels very stiff and weak. I wore a compression support but don't honestly know whether this made any difference. I can't say I was in pain when running but by the end my legs felt very heavy! I now find it hard to walk downstairs, as though I have no strength in my knee. I really want to just push through and carry on but not sure if this is best in the long run. I'm doing the knee strengthening exercises suggested on here and my thighs are really stiff. Any advice for this old croc?!

I don’t know much about bad knees, but I always try rest and ice first before anything else. And maybe an anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen.

The only time my knees have played me up a bit, I did a few knee bends every day - making sure I didn’t go down into a full squat.

If you don’t think they’re improving after a couple of days then go to your doctor.

Take more rest days and squat.

If it persists consult your GP.
