I'm still doing 30 mins 3 times a week and want to get up to 40 mins, as that will take me to 5k. Thing is my knees are a teeny bit sore after running. I wouldn't say it's an injury as such but it's definitely a niggle. I don't want it to get any worse as I love running and really really don't want to have to stop. Any advice from fellow graduates?

My girlfriend suffers from a sore knee - she says from using a clutch in a manual car. It was bad enough that it stopped her running.
She has started using a knee support when driving, and also kinesiology taping her knee to get support when not driving.
Could be worth checking out. If you go down the kinesiology tape front I’d suggest getting someone specialised to show you how to do it right the first time.

Check out the knee strengthening exercises in the pinned post. Core & hip strengthening also helps the knees.
