1st run!

Well, I did it! My first day on the C25K! Overall I burned 279 calories, I ran 2.5k in 30 muinets. And it felt amazing. Having mild asthma, when I use to run I use to get so out of breath. However; this time I felt amazing. A little out of breath, but not as much as it use to be! One question though, what food is best to eat? To help me loose weight with food and running? Thank you!

Congratulations ChloeRay, welcome to C25K, well done for completing run 1, not sure what you meant by 30 minutes, if you keep to the program the 8/60 second runs and the 7/90 second walking breaks come to 20 minutes not 30.

That’s what I meant. It was 30 muinets and it was 5 muinets walking at the start and the end.

Yes I understand that ChloeRay, I am so used now in only timeing the runs. When I was doing C25K I had to walk for 10 minutes from my home before I began and my cooldown walk was usually around 15 minutes to get home, I did not count them, that's why I only timed the actual runs from the start.
