Does anyone else have zero motivation for the first 10 minutes? like it feels like it goes on forever then the final 15 minutes is fine.

It may be more to do with your mental relationship with having to work hard. This post healthunlocked.com/couchto5... explains the Toxic Ten.........the start of a run when your body has not worked out its response to the demands you are putting on it.
Now you know, maybe you can change your mindset to cope with it.
Yep, for me the first 5-10 minutes were always the worst but the last few runs it's not happened.
Yes, that’s definitely me. Totally convinced I’m never gonna finish the run, but it does get easier. IannodaTruffe, your link really helps and makes me realise it’s not just me!
