Week 5 done

I managed week 5! Never thought I could. My feeling of triumph slightly harshed by somone I know who wrote today that they had decided to start the programme on week 5 and seem to think it was quite easy really wasn’t it! Made me feel like a bit of lame duck as working up to this week has been a big achievment for me. Anyway not my monkey, not my circus... onwards and upwards to week 6!

Great for finishing wk5. Also anyone that starts the program on wk5 will certainly give themselves an injury the plan is there for a reason , to start at wk1 and work your way up sometimes with repeats if needed . So anyway good luck for wk6

I’ve had that before. It’s SO annoying.

The only person you need to compare yourself to is yourself. There’ll always be faster people who run effortlessly. You can drive yourself mad looking at them. Just look at your own progress 😍

Great advice. At parkrun I was overtaken whilst running by a front-runner who was walking. Amazing! But there was no way he was working as hard as I was. Run your own race and let others do what they want. :)

Congratulations Crossbill on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 and runs 🏃

Well done... building up is sensible... if they over do things too soon you’ll be running further than them when they’re sat nursing an injury!

Well done for completing week 5👏👏.

Different people have different fitness levels and some people will injure easier than others so as Tasha99 said concentrate on your running and don’t worry about what other people are doing, if you stick to the plan and run slowly you will complete C25K with flying colours.

#keeponrunning. 🙂🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
