1. I dont usually πŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ in the morning - l did today epic fail.

2. Misjudged the weather - had to stop and remove layers.

3. Too many people and cars on the road 😬

4. Pace, l ran 2.5km too quick when l got to 3.5km l was tired, tried to dig deep but there was nothing πŸ˜”.

The biggest lesson is PACE!! I usually try and speed up when l have 5mins left. Monday l will pick myself up and carry on graduation πŸŽ“ is in sight πŸ€“

Well done - I did W9R1 today too. It's constantly about learning lessons, isn't it? I've been sticking to the same route so I know my 'markers' - big rock, outdoor centre, road end - and know if my pace is tight. I'm thinking I need to try running somewhere else but it'll make getting my pace right much more challenging. It definitely seems to be the biggest thing to focus on.

Pace is key, l changed my route 3runs ago but l was running at 7pm so theres no traffic but this morning all the people and other runners really threw me off key. Day time runs are hard for me - it might be all in my head πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š

It's amazing how much difference running at a different time of day makes!

Such a steep learning curve. Or should I say, so many learning curves, from pace and breathing and technique, to food and water, to footwear and clothing, to overcoming mental hurdles. Keeps it interesting! πŸ™ƒ

Right with you in all this, as I go into W9 tomorrow. 😊☹️ Taking your lessons to heart! I am a morning runner, and the one run I did in the late afternoon was full of unpleasant lessons, so defo got that idea. I need a bit of extra space for this set of runs, as W8 took me very much to the limits of my current route plus an unscheduled bit of repeat. Will need to think this through before I get caught jogging on the last corner. πŸ˜„ and pace: right. No rushing, curb the enthusiasm, etc. Stay with 🐌.

Will try to keep it all in mind, head spinning round.... πŸ€ͺ. Good luck with your next go, MissLBD, and thanks for the help.

Good learning... start slowly then you can decide to keep that pace or go faster at the end... start fast and sometimes you don’t get either option. Well done getting out there... have a look at the temperature and dress for 10C higher... here today that means shorts and T-shirt. Enjoy Monday’s run.

I find that specific music help. Slow, and I go slow. Fast, and I go fast. Nice, and I dream and reach my goal before I know it.
