I tried out a new route and it was a bit further than I had anticipated. After Jo Wiley had finished encouraging me, I still had over half a mile to get back home.
On the plus side, Strava gave me my first 5k time! I was glad to get home and put my feet up.
Might leave this route for a later week.

If that happens to me, I just enjoy the walk home and feel extra virtuous! 😄 😂 (i.e. I didn’t do extra running.) The idea of the gradual buildup in the program is to prevent injury. More is not always better! 😃
