Back running after MCL injury

I got to week 8, sprained my MCL, and after a month’s rest (crutches etc) I am back running. Have gone back to week 3. Taking it very carefully. Had my gait analysed and saw how much I pronate so will be getting new shoes. So do stop as soon as your knee hurts especially older runners like me (65)!

Great to hear you're back. You'll soon be back to where you were and graduating! Good advice btw we runners should never ever ignore pain however tempting it is to think we can run through it
