So, nearly time for the big one!

Just done W5R2, now trying to figure out how on earth I will do 20 mins on Thursday. I’m a day behind this week as I did a sponsored sea dip (3 mins immersion) on Sunday and yesterday the metal plate in my ankle (!🙄🙄) was really playing up. Something to do with bones warming up quicker than metal! So I had an extra rest day and got back out this morning. Which was ok I think. The 8 mins weren’t as bad as I had thought they would be. But I was very happy when Jo said I was done!! So Thursday is the big one ☝️🤞

Don’t worry about it

Many have feared and faced it down

As you have discovered this programme asks just enough each run, and that’s true for W5R3 too.

You will feel marvellous when you do it👍

I have just done W5R2 too! :) The 8 minutes weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I'm not looking forward to Thursday especially as I will be away from home so won't be running my usual route. Good Luck!

It is just another run that somehow has acquired a tough reputation.

Thanks for that, Iannoda, it is helpful and I will take all that on board and try to focus on the grin at the end. 🤞🤞

W5R2 wasn't 8 minutes - it was a 21. Excluding warm-up and cool-down, that's the TOTAL amount of time you were on your feet and that's what counts.

W5R3 is 1 minute less :-)

You have NOTHING to fear!
