Well that’s my second run (W1R2) nailed.

Felt reasonable. Not too bad, not too good.

I have however learned a very valuable lesson - don’t put my glasses in my shorts pocket- the lenses and now more scratches than anything else... oops!

Hope you lovely lot don’t mind me biting you senseless with a post every time I run!

Of course we don't mind you basically sending us a report every time that you run.

Onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 1 and you can tell us how it went, remember take all your runs slow and steady and keep ridgidly to the program, you must have at least 1 day off for a rest, however, if you keep to the same days a week for your runs you will have at some time 2 rest days, i. e. if you run on a Sunday you will run also on Tuesday and Thursday giving you Friday and Saturday off, it's up to you which days are best suited to you.

If I'd been on a forum where members only posted about doing flawless 5/10/13.1 and however many k a FM is (don't tell me - it'll scare me off even thinking of doing on some day 😲)....I would have quit Running in a matter of weeks.

What still motivates me almost three years down the line is being able to come here and be not only a 'Runner' - but be 'myself'.

I always say that while we might run on our own, because of this Forum I never feel like I run alone.

So - worry ye not. You have found your people and it's always good to hear from each other :)

Wishing you many happy miles in your future 👍
