Week 5, Run 3 Demons

Completed W5R3 on the first attempt today. Was very apprehensive prior to the run, considering the jump from 8 to 20 minutes. Just wanted to let everyone know, if you've followed the plan, it works and it's definitely achievable. Feeling good.

Congratulations Twinchoke on completing week 5 run 3, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 walks and runs 🏃

Thanks AIMorr. Looking forward to starting W6 on Monday. I have each of the runs programmed into my Garmin Fenix 3 as a workout too.

You are right if you follow the plan it does work. You will have some tough runs but take it slowly and you will get there. 🙂

Well done... it wasn’t a step from 8 to 20... it was a step from 16 minutes of running and 5 of brisk walking (23 minutes of cardio) to 20 minutes of running. It was all in the mind, and you beat it. Slow and steady in the intervals that start week 6 and you got this.
