Week 5 Run 3

I have never looked at any runs before doing them but was trying to show a friend the app with the smiley faces, had to open run 3 of week 5 and what a shock to see the 20 minute run that I would be doing that Saturday! Well I did it with the biggest grin on my face at the end. Did week 6 Run 1 this morning and it was harder than the 20 minute run? I really love this and I never thought I'd be saying that 😀

Well done on getting past those 2 runs, they seem fairly contradictory...week 5r3 looks hard and w6r1 looks easier but for most people it's the other way around

The runs are all different.. they need to be to move us on. Running is abut a great deal more than running. It teaches us new skills and discipline in our running...

This is why we advocate a slow and steady approach...always accepting that each person has a different 'slow' than another person.

But if you take it at your own comfortable place, then each run is completely achievable.

A huge well done to you.... and now you are moving onto the lovely longer runs, your running legs will find their happy pace and you will love it!

Brilliant!

Well done. It’s great isn’t it to be running for 20 minutes and realise “yes I’m actually doing this”’ I also found week 6 run 1 harder but runs 2 and 3 were better. You’re almost there - keep enjoying it! 😊🏃🏻‍♀️

I found W6r1 as hard as w1r1! It’s knocked my confidence a little, but I’ll keep going. 🤨
