On Monday, I attempted W4R1 and while I wont go as far as saying I failed, I definitely didn't meet my expectations. I got interrupted towards to the end of the 1st 3 minute run, I started the whole run again and at the 2 minute mark of the last run didn't feel I could carry on, so stopped.
I was knackered before I started and hadn't really eaten properly that day, but after brooding for a couple of days, making sure I ate well and slept well the night before, smashed it last night. Feel crappy I failed(ish) Monday but over the moon that I didn't let it knock me down completely.

Well done I’m just starting week 5 and I have had a couple of occasions when I felt I couldn’t finish the run but the advice I took on board was to slow down and finish the run the speed is not important which I did and now at week 5 I’m feeling good
Getting back up again after a knock 8s so brave - you deserve to be proud of yourself. We will all have failed runs, whether in C25K or beyond, and the ability to not let it floor you is what will keep us running.
Sounds like you kind of ran it on Monday, just differently. It was a good practice run for today’s glorious one. Prep makes a big difference and part of running is working out what works best for you... you know what was wrong on Monday and so it can be fixed... that run served a purpose.
