Starting this program for my wellbeing. Stress+anxiety were being a bit too present. Hopefully getting back into doing regular sporting activities will help.
I hate running, big time, I m the guy who hates running who wants to do a 10k.
This should be fun.

Good morning 😊. Proven time after time that regular exercise which elevates your heart rate is good for lowering stress and anxiety levels, so your definitely making a good choice. Follow the program and you will be fine .... take your time and enjoy your c25k journey 🏃🏻🏃🏻😊
Hi, I could’ve written this post myself!! For the first week I hated it too, but I’m now on Week 3 and I actually look forward to going out now and I am feeling better mentally for doing it. You will surprise yourself! Good luck 💪🏻
If you keep telling yourself you hate running then there is a negative corner of your brain that will try to trip you up. Why not adopt an open minded approach. You hated running when you did it last.............this is different.
Learning to run is very largely a mental battle, so make sure you are giving yourself a chance from the outset. Positivity rules, ok.
Yea agreed. Few experiences were positive although I m really not a doom and gloom kind of guy. It was more tongue in cheek....
In any case I m trying to recreate the running experience I did enjoy i.e. trail running and throw in some sprint. The rest is for the long lasting benefits of my head.
Trail runs are so gorgeous When you get fitter and can run longer - as this programme will enable you to do - you can really help your stress levels by disappearing for a leisurely run on your favourite trails. You get fitter and stronger, you can lose weight too. It’s all good 💪👍😃🏃♂️
I’d never moved before - let alone run - when I embarked on this wonderful plan. I was like Edina Monsoon and could just about move my eyes 😁
