Take heart Newbies, this thing really works

I have just completed week 9 run 3 and feel fantastic. A few months ago I would have said that this would be impossible. I am approaching 75 and had not run for many, many years. However, Laura knew better than me and this marvellous program has worked its magic. Honestly, if I can do it I reckon you can too. Your body can do more than your mind wants to believe. However, there are just a few simple rules:

1 read and understand the preparatory materials

2 if you have chronic health issues such as being past your youth, heart or breathing issues, diabetes, obesity etc, don’t give up BUT SEE YOUR DOCTOR FIRST

3 believe in the program but be prepared to run slower than you thought was possible. Just get those required minutes in.

Thanks for the encouragement, I am hooked and will not let this go now. I have read the materials and have a solid plan of gradual extension of endurance with some small smatterings of minor pace improvement. What I really want though is to encourage others to get with this marvellous program
