Week 1 60 second runs - at the end of each run I was convinced I couldn't run another step. Week 8 R2 - 28 minutes of running and at the end I'm convinced I can't run another step, but I don't actually feel any worse than the week 1 runs. I suppose that's increasing fitness and a well-designed program? Just need to have faith in Michael Johnson. I'm nearly at the stage where I am almost enjoying it! Sense of achievement is great though.

You are doing very well indeed getfitatlast, so at the end of week 8 you feel the same as at the end of week 1

Once you have ran run 3 of week 9 you will be eleted with yourself, good luck for your graduation run πŸƒπŸΎ 😊 πŸ‘

It is a fantastic plan! If you do find that you feel that way when you are still running then just slow down, it can really help.

I think I need to set off a bit slower then go for a big finish ! πŸ˜‚.

It is so difficult to get that slow start isn't it! I may think about Japanese running while warming up (toxic 10) and once I am going then let it build up a bit. Yesterday I had to run really slow because of my shoulder and I think it really made me feel how to do it rather than just think about it!

Ill give it a go in tomorrow's run. Need to pull back from my blistering 14 minute mile pace!! Hope shoulder is getting better. Well done for carrying on running!

It's much better already. My sports masseur is really good! Always gets it going again!
