Week 9 Run 3 - Oscar Acceptance Speech

Just finished the final run of week 9!

I always said in the past that i would never run anywhere, if your important enough, people will wait! Now, after nine weeks of highs and thankfully not many lows, I graduated and finished the program and just covered the 5km within the run.

I am literally walking on air! I cant believe the progress I have made and how far I have come. It's literally unbelievable that not very long ago I really couldn't manage 60 seconds of running but now my life has completely changed.

The difference both physically and mentally is noticeable to me and everyone around me. I ran with my son all the way through and he too has loved every second, urging me on and encouraging me through every step. My partner also completed the program today and we've enjoyed the challenge together considerably, ringing and texting after each run religiously to congratulate eachother on more milestones.

Everyone says it, but i really am testament to the fact that c25k really works and i would heartily recommend it to anyone. I am a changed man and i now intend to carry on with my new found fitness and passion for exercise.

If at the time of reading this your early into the program, don't give up and keep going. You can so do this. The feeling you get when you finish is amazing!

Congratulations to all three of you. What a beautiful story and to include your family must be so encouraging. So you need to change the name to family 76 but I digress.
