First run accomplished

Really pleased that I’ve now done my first run. A real bonus was that my husband decided to join me! We both used to run but that was over 10 years ago now - and it’s great that he’s now decided to download the couch to 5k app too. Found the app really great to keep the motivation going and to keep the timings right. That’s the big hurdle over!

Congratulations Suebythecoast on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 with your husband accompaning you. They say run 1 of week 1 is the hardest. Onwards and upwards to run 2 and the remaining 9 weeks until you graduate, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to. 😊 🏃

PS, Excellent, some people who have ran weeks 1 and 2 of C25K have reported that they thought that they were going to collapse and even die, non have, others ran those first two weeks near to hospitals which had A &

E units or near doctors surgeries just in case of a emerency, non of that was necessary and those runners went on to graduate 9 weeks later. 😊

well done and welcome. You've done the hard bit, the rest will be....not going to lie and say 'easy', but it's going to be less hard.

Great job by you both, hardest run is now done. You’ll soon be back to where you were years ago. Enjoy the journey.
