My post Xmas runs have been disappointing having clocked up 41mins jogging time before Xmas.
I get that any run is a good run but 2 consecutive runs of around 20mins knocked my confidence & enthusiasm.
The last run was only yesterday so I should have rested today but I couldn’t help myself, I needed to get that 40mins back and I was feeling up to it so went for it.
43mins jogging, 5.05km (inc warm up distance) ... it was super slow but it was the time jogging I wanted to clock up.
The 20min sessions were a set back but I’m now back on track to do my first proper 5km ... excluding warm up distance.

I know curbing runs can be disappointing but please don’t take them as a set back, we all have times that are like that. I tend to use those times for proper speed run training. I will just go for it speed wise or use the speed podcast, I think that comes in at 26 mins. As you progress you really need all the different training session to help make you stronger, glad you are back On Track again. Rfc x
