Strange morning this morning here in North Yorkshire. Grey, windy, damp and warm! But up, out and at it 😊😊
Actually it wasn’t a bad run. Still feel a bit heavy legged but my pace was pretty consistent and I did 5k in 32.49 which was a minute quicker than my park run 3 weeks ago so that’s good. Still can’t get near to that crazy 29 min run I did 2 weeks ago. Don’t know where that came from but who knows. Maybe I’ll get back there again one day 😀😀
I’m no hurry though. Just happy to be consolidating my 5k for a few weeks and then maybe I’ll look at my next challenge.

Just keep on consolidating.. enjoy the runs and forget distance... making sure that you get plenty of 30 mins in though... try some new routes and try some , see where you get to runs
Glorious morning here, but I am still on the IC and unable to take advantage.. so I envy your ..." grey. windy, damp and warm run". Very well done you!
That's great Clarabelle71 and brilliant time! hoping to do my first post grad run tomorrow. I'll be happy to just run for 30 mins, so not too worried about distance. I'm definitely going to be consolidating for a couple of months and may then brave a parkrun☺
Go for it! I’ve only done one Parkrun so far and it poured down but I loved it. I was a bit worried when everyone set off and I felt like I was going backwards 😱😀 but there are people of all abilities thee and I just went at my own pace. I’m doing Tees 5k week on Sunday. I’m trying not to worry about the fact I’ll be at the back 😀😀
Well done with another good consolidation run! Glad you are enjoying your post grad running and recent parkrun. I love parkrun, and being able to run at different locations to mix things up too. You are pretty speedy!! so I doubt you will be at the back 😀
