Saturday morning 5k

The knee is still holding up, still twinges but not when running thankfully. I was going to a weight loss support group this morning so decided to run in. I still had a few walking periods but mostly ran it & my running app inspired me to keep running when it announced my pace as 8 mins 32 secs per km - whooo that’s a whole minute & a bit off my last run. Still got some way to get back to where I was but considering I had written off running, I am soo pleased.

Moving on up to 10km & beyond soon.

Happy running everyone x

Such good news that the knee is holding up. Excellent start to 2019 - long may it continue!

Cheers Tartancat - I am planning on doing a half marathon later in the year. Now there’s something I never thought I would do 😜

And to think you were worried you'd never run again! All the best with your HM training - keep us posted! 🏃‍♀️
