Injury W8R2

Had to pull out of this mornings run after 10 minutes as the niggling ache in possibly a tendon in my lower right calf was getting worse, not better. Walked the last 20 minutes home.

Advice please on how will I know it’s safe to run again?

And how many weeks back should I go?

I generally do a few minutes post run stretches but am aware my legs are stiffer than at the beginning of the program.

Many thanks!

The stretches will help. It is difficult to tell you when to go back as only you can feel the injury. When going back I would do a little interval session say 5 mins run 1 min walk for 20 mins, once that feels good go back to wk 8.

Thanks, that sounds sensible!
