I made it to 5K!

So proud of myself - all done. My 10 year old son, who hasn’t been on any other of the 27 runs decided he would join me for the final one, and he made it round with ease! Made it a very special moment when I finished!

Determined to keep going in 2019. Good luck to everyone else - it is so possible, as I never thought I would make it, so, as they say, if I can then you can. X

Congratulations to you and your 10 year old son, unlike his mother he didn't do the whole of C25K but just went and ran a 5K as if it was a short run to the shops.

Yes exactly - his lovely young body. Very proud of him too! He’s a natural sportsman unlike me. He’ll be running marathons I’m sure. Thank you!

Yes it's amazing how fast some 10 year old boys can run a 5K, if you put him in for a 5K event run, like some of the boys I saw at a recent 5K, your son would probably run it in around 24 minutes.
