The rain in Michigan finally let up this morning, and I did my last C25K run! I'm still slow and only ran 3.5K in 30 minutes, but I'm really glad I've completed the program.
I ran 5K last Sunday, which took me 45 minutes, so I know I can do it, and I'll be doing it again next Friday for the fundraiser race at my son's school.
Thanks for all the funny, commiserating, and encouraging posts along these past nine weeks. They made the journey ever so much better for me.
Looking forward to posting with my shiny new badge and running in my pretty new shirt (I already ordered)!
Happy running!

I also want to thank NHS for this great program, since I'm not a UK citizen. It's very kind and benevolent to allow us foreigners to access and benefit from C25K, too!
Well done! Brilliant to have already done a 5k as well by graduation - keeping going for 45 minutes by week 9 is a huge achievement (it took me another week or two, and a bit more than 45 minutes as well!)
Yehaah....you clever girl. It's great to hear from a fellow graduate I finished today and badge has been asked for and going to order the t-shirt next. Well done with the 5km and enjoy the future as a RUNNER
Great stuff, toegloves! The sense of achievement is amazing, isn't it? Check out the 5k+ podcasts on the NHS website - they're good for building stamina and speed and take you on the next step. Best wishes.
