What a difference a day (of rest) made. I had such an awful run on Sun I was a little apprehensive today. But thanks to all your wise words and fantastic encouragement I set off determined to nail it today. And I finally did it. I had to change my route due to flooding and it was steeper but I kept going and couldn’t believe it when Sarah told me “time to slow down, you’ve done it, run for 28 mins”! Woohoo. I punched the air. And finally my distance - 5.11kms. Can’t wait for Thursday and already thinking about a park run when I graduate. Thanks everyone. You really do make a big difference. 👏👏👏😘

Well done.

If you are running 5.1k in 28mins you are flying.

It might be wise to slow down a bit.

Aw I wish, Tx IannodaTruffe - but the distance included my walks; but it felt so great because the furthest I’ve done, all in, so far is 4.73kms. I think though that the 5km in 30 mins is now within reach. I’ll keep plodding on 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

That's some going considering you could just about do 60 secs not so long ago..

Well done. perhaps try just recording your run next time. It will give you a better idea of your pace, etc.
