W1 run 1 in the bag! Feeling it now but glad I’ve started!!
I have realised that I need to get to work on some suitable tunes for running!!!
Can anyone recommend me some perfect tunes for my play list - all types of music considered!! 😃👍

Great on getting started the only music I like when running is fast paced music it depends on what you like 😊
Congratulations on starting C25K, by the time you graduate you will feel much more confident in yourself, you say you like all kinds of music, especially the kind of music to run to. If you have Spotify and Google play, download Jancanrun's Retro Runners playlist or Jancanrun's birthday number ones, good tunes on those two downloads, try them if you want to. 😊 🏃
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

I listen to my favourite music, whether it is rock, folk, reggae or classical and love the random juxtaposition. 50% of the time I run with no music, which I think every runner should do sometimes, as it helps you relate to the world you are running through.
Enjoy your journey.
Welcome ! So far I’ve avoided music myself, because I have a weird phobia about headphones 🤪 I would say, look out for tunes with a steady rather than a fast beat. Embrace your inner snail ! Go too fast at first and you’ll burn out. Enjoy your journey x
Hi, I use the apple bog standard ear pieces. I suffer from ear ache if wind gets in my ears, and they are sufficiently practical to keep the wind out. Some of my favourite albums when I am jogging (I also used to listen to when driving some years ago from Manchester to Aberdeen every two weeks). Beyonce - I am...........Sacha Fierce. Lady Gaga The Fame and The Fame Monster, Led Zeppelin Remasters (2 albums), The Who - Who's next and Pink Floyd The Wall. That's showing my age. In particular, the Beyonce and Gaga tracks seem to have the right tempo to fit with my jogging speed that I can maintain without effort for 25 minutes. It may slow me down, but I prefer it that way. The last thing music should do is to increase your jogging speed beyond what feels comfortable for the duration of the run. I hope this helps.
