First time ever have I run longer than the panting distance to the bus stop. I am absolutely thrilled. I was the sideline supporter for three friends that did a 10K recently, next year I'm going to join them. Can't believe I actually ran. Can't wait for Wednesday for my second run.
Thank you all for your inspiring posts, they've really helped me get my trainers on and out for a 6am run.

Yay! You did the hardest thing - you got up, put your trainers on and went out for a run. You'll be amazed at how quickly you get stronger now, so good luck with the next run, and keep posting your progress here πππ
You've only gone and done it! The first one is the hardest - actually getting the resolve to get up early, get your kit on and get out the door is a major achievement. Be proud.
Good luck with run two later in the week.
Happy running.
Ha Ha I can here your absolute joy. Well done, you started a great programme!
Well done.... getting out for that 1st run is so hard... it was my new years resolution to do this program... and I didn't manage that first run until June lol. Well done. ππ
