Feeling nervous wk5 run 2 tomorrow. 2 lots of 8 mins. Then run 3 a whopping 20mins no stops. That's a big jump. How have everyone else got on?

They have got on very well indeed on run 3 of week 5, just take it slowly and you will be able to run all of the 20 minutes 🏃😊

Eek i hope your right. I've stuck to the plan so far. But wouldn't say I've found it particularly easy.

Nothing comes easy to begin with, once you complete run 3 of week 5 slow and steady you will be very proud of yourself.

I don’t think it is meant to be easy... I’m just finally figuring that out 🤪Wondering during the run if you are going to get through it, finishing the runs with wobbly legs, burning cheeks, sweaty and breathing hard is normal I think... 🤔

Try slowing down.

C25K is designed to build stamina, which is done by running at an easy conversational pace, as explained in the guide to the plan.

There is no big jump.

Read this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Trust the plan, believe in yourself and pace yourself sensibly.

You'll do it. The 20 minute run was very enjoyable and rewarding. A great feeling of satisfaction afterwards.

It’s a big jump and scary but it’s was better than I thought and if you prepare yourself mentally it’s will help a lot. I just set some music on my headphones and got into a good rhythm with my breathing and it’s passed by no problem.

You can do it.

Thankyou. Still not sure I've got my breathing right.

W5R3?...Best run of the lot!

This is when you feel like a runner 🏃‍♀️

Get out there, slow and steady and enjoy every single one of those 20 minutes!

I guarantee you’ll love it, looking forward to seeing your proud post once you’ve smashed it!

GO GO GO! 😁⚡️

I totally agree with TS - that and W6R3 were my two favourite runs of the whole thing!

I did my w5r3 today. It wasn't as bad as I expected (I think I had overthought it). Take it steady as you don't want to burn out too early and find a way to distract yourself - for me that was listening to a good podcast. It will be over before you know it.

I too was dreading this run when I was there, in fact I’d got myself quite down about it thinking there’s no way I can do that !!!! Trust in the plan and you will do as I did and you’ll be so proud 😁 I never imagined I would enjoy running the way I do, I’ve been doing it for 14 months now , not long runs just 3 miles 3 times a week and I feel great . I hope you continue to enjoy it as I have... good luck 👍
