Week 3 and loving it

Just completed W3R2 today. My route took me too far away from home so I added an extra 3min run (before the cool down walk). I am amazed by how much I am enjoying this. A few weeks I had to repeat W1R1 because I couldn’t manage 60 seconds running, now I am running an extra 3 mins “for fun”!

Good running. Don’t add to every run though, it’s a carefully devised plan and pushes you already, we don’t want an avoidable injury... I over ran the odd one, so not preaching, just avoid going over again for the next couple... and never go far over.

You’re enjoying it, you’re completing the runs with some left in the tank, fitness is rising fast... you’ll soon be hitting that 30 minutes. Happy running.

Thanks. Yes I appreciate that it is carefully designed by people who know far more about it than I do. Need to find a slightly shorter loop next time to get me back home about 3 mins sooner, yet allowing for me maybe possibly running a bit faster 😂

Or just run a part circuit and then turn at the bell.

I just did exactly the same as you on W3R2!

I’m hoping it will come in handy for next week.... looks tough!

I did w3r2 this morning! Well done! I’m nervous about letting things slip next week!

Me too..... and if we get through that then week 5 looks really tough! Especially after eating way too much over Christmas!!

I’m trying not to look ahead until I get there. And we can always repeat a week if we indulge too much next week!

Naughty! 😂 I felt the same - had some left in the tank and wanted to run more, but told myself ‘no’. Such a good student lol 😝

Well done ;)
